The White Sands Pupfish (21-31) didnt have a chance on Monday, as the Roswell Invaders (37-15) won in blowout fashion, 10-2 at Joe Bauman Park.

The Roswell Invaders scored five runs in the eighth on a solo home run by Eric Lambe, a two-run double by Vincent Mejia, an RBI single by Chris Constantino, and an error.

Constantino boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 4-4 day at the plate to pace the Roswell Invaders.

The Roswell Invaders relied on Lambe to eat up innings en route to the win. Lambe allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out six over eight innings of work.

Ernesto Zaragaza (1-2) took the loss for the White Sands Pupfish. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
