The Trinidad Triggers (24-12) and the White Sands Pupfish (22-15) each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the Trinidad Triggers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 10-6 win at Central Park.
Eric Williams racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and eighth innings.
Aaron Olivas racked up three RBIs on two hits for the White Sands Pupfish. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth inning.
Patrick Jernigan improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Trinidad Triggers. He allowed four runs over 3 2/3 innings. Jernigan struck out one, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Demetrus Ingrams was charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked five and struck out two.
